Reservations

We use open scheduling. Book any tour with your 50% deposit on any open date, or join a previously booked tour by calling us toll-free or by emailing us. We have a 2-adult fare minimum equivalent for open dates that are booked a month or more in advance, and a 4-fare equivalent if booked less than a month in advance. The exception is whale watching, which has a 3-person minimum. Or, check our schedule at the above link to see if a tour that has already been booked by another party will accommodate your schedule. Book early to assure getting desired dates. A 50% deposit by VISA, MasterCard, check, or money order will secure your reservation. Balance due at sailing for day trips and water taxi service, and two weeks prior for overnight trips. We will confirm your reservation by mail or email when we receive your deposit. $6.00 per person Whittier tax is added to all prices.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you cancel your day trip more than seven days in advance, we will refund 100% of your deposit if by check or money order, or less a 5% service fee if by VISA or MasterCard. If you cancel your day trip within seven days of your scheduled date and that date is not re-booked by another party for a trip of equal or greater value, you will forfeit your deposit. If you cancel any portion of your day trip or multi-day trip after its departure from Whittier you will forfeit the full balance due for your trip. If you cancel due to extenuating circumstances, we may refund your deposit at our discretion, as above. If unsafe weather or other unforeseen circumstances prevents our departure, you may either re-schedule for an open date during the current year, or cancel completely, with a refund of your deposit, less a 5% of deposit service charge. Weather Considerations:
Sometimes rain or fog will restrict visibility during a tour. It is not unusual to experience a variety of weather and water conditions during any trip. Seasickness is rarely a problem in the protected waters of the Sound. The key word for weather cancellations is unsafe. Water conditions may be marginally comfortable, but still not unsafe. In such cases we leave departure up to the client, realizing that some people have a higher tolerance for such conditions than others.
